In a match valid for the 15th round of the Brasileirão Feminino A1, Grêmio beat Cruzeiro 2-0 at Francisco Noveletto, in Porto Alegre, and jumped from ninth to sixth place in the competition. Goals from Leidiane and Letícia Nunes sealed the Mosqueteiras’ victory and dropped Cabuloso from sixth to eighth place.
Another highlight of the round was Corinthians’ 4-1 win over Santos. Belén Aquino, Thaís Ferreira, Gisele Robledo, and Rhaizza scored for the Brabas; Ketlen pulled one back for the Sereias da Vila.
Besides these matches, five more clashes have already had their results decided: Atlético-MG 0 x 3 Bahia, Ferroviária 0 x 0 Palmeiras, Juventude 0 x 1 Mixto, Vitória 2 x 2 Internacional, São Paulo 1 x 0 Red Bull Bragantino.
The round continues this Monday (10) with two matches: At 6 p.m., Botafogo and Fluminense face off at Nilton Santos, in Rio de Janeiro; at 9 p.m., América-MG play Flamengo at Arena URBSAN, in Betim (Minas Gerais).
